The INCREASE project was presented on the E-World Conference and Fair in Istanbul, Turkey, 6-8 May 2015.
Con|energy once again took its successful E-world energy & water concept – Europe’s largest energy trade fair – to Turkey, in order to establish a further industry forum there. The E-world was organised together with the ICCI, the leading Turkish energy trade fair. In 2015 the ICCI took place for the 21st time and provided an excellent context for E-world Turkey, comprising over 400 exhibitors and 16,000 visitors.
INCREASE was represented here by the industrial consortium partner and SME Korona, power engineering d.d., from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The CEO and director of the managing board of Korona, Dr. Boštjan Strmčnik, claimed that "Turkey is a fast growing country with exceptional potential for the integration of Renewable energy sources and advanced distribution network control features, as we are developing within the framework of INCREASE".
The project was well appreciated by the local DSOs who are interested in the results and the provided methodologies developed within INCREASE. There was a lot of interest and especially in the way we want to tackle voltage profile issues using the PV and OLTC local and overlaying coordinated control.
